INHF printed the first edition of Iowa Landowner Options in 1982 and has provided free consultation and educational materials about Iowa land protection for nearly 40 years. INHF has helped Iowa’s landowners protect over 150,000 acres of Iowa’s special places. Some of these sites are now operated as public natural areas while others remain in private ownership or in INHF’s care.
